Artist collaborations

Contemporary art is a form of making meaning

When two artists come together, the meanings which can be explored and made have a different kind of power

Collaboration with Janina Majcher

Janina is a multidisciplinary artist with roots in 3D and digital media, with a practice that confronts silence by screaming through the physical surface.

Rooted in Slavic heritage, her work carries an emotional directness influenced by German Expressionism. Through bold outlines, exaggerated features, and stark forms, she searches for beauty within imperfection and the emotional truth behind “ugly” art.

Janina’s practice serves as research into the body, femininity, the abject, and survival. It is an intimate reflection and release, a way to recognise inner conflict while creating a space for dialogue and understanding.
